Are you a breastfeeding mom returning to work?

NMC’s Workplace Lactation Support Services program is here for you!

NMC helps Moms and breastfeeding families negotiate the sometimes difficult and stressful transition back to work while continuing to breastfeed. We also provide support for nursing mothers who have challenges accessing rest breaks at work or fear that their employer will not give them the support they need.

NMC also works with businesses to help them understand the employer benefits of a workplace lactation program. We offer a range of services including developing a breastfeeding policy, lactation room design, corporate breast pump sales and rentals AND Portable Lactation Spaces (PLS) for non-office settings.

If you, your business or organization, or employer is interesting in learning how NMC’s Workplace Lactation Support Services can assist in them becoming a Breastfeeding Friendly Employer, contact us at  workplace@nursingmotherscounsel.org.

PORTABLE LACTATION STATION FOR NON-OFFICE SETTINGS

In compliance with Oregon and Federal law, women who return to work after the birth of a baby, must have access to clean, private, lockable spaces in which to express milk for their infants.  For women in non-office settings this can sometimes present challenges, but no longer!  Nursing Mothers Counsel of Oregon has pioneered the development of a Portable Lactation Station.  Each unit consists of four walls, floor with rug, a keyed entry with a one-piece solar lamp with automatic on/off. A chair and small table to rest a breast pump is also included.  Purchase: $1249.99 includes delivery. To find out more please call, Marion @503.708.0707 or marion@nursingmotherscounsel.org
